"First up is Kirkland they keep everything open and allow indexes in there apache configuration, so a little W get magic is all thats necessary to download the entire Kirkland facebook, kids stuff." "Kid stuff" really? Yep thats what Jesse Eisenburg the actor playing the billionaire creator of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg said in a intense computer hacking scene in the beginning of The Social Network, directed by David Fincher. Who would of thought the director of Fight Club starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, would direct such a movie such as The Social Network.
The Social Network has everything you look for in a movie. The movie has drama, comedy suspense, and best of all it gives you the knowledge of how the social networking site, that is the biggest in the world was created. Mark Zuckerberg, a computer whiz and boy genius who scored a 1600 on his SAT made a website that changed the world, and changed the way we use the internet. This is all portrayed very well in this film. What I really enjoyed in this film is the way the director showed the creation of Facebook. He used flashbacks, during the film while Mark Zuckerberg is speaking to lawyers over the many law suits he has obtained from the websites creation, he would have flashbacks that showed his journey to the creation of Facebook. The actors that they chose for this film were great all but one, Justin Timberlake playing the Napster founder Sean Parker, come on really? No one wants to see Mr. Boy band. "It's a great performance of a character that isn't me." That's what the real Sean Parker had to say about Justin Timberlake. Well I have something completely different Sean Parker stick to computers. I understand that he may have not portrayed you in the best way possible, but saying" It's a great performance" is a complete and utter overstatement. Justin Timberlake in the movie had a very flamboyant personality I thought, and I just couldn't take him seriously throughout the whole movie knowing that he was in Nsync. And a word of advice to you Mr. Timberlake stick to singing let the acting stay for the actors. But I can't say anything bad about the main character played by Jesse Eisenburg.
His performance was FANTASTIC. The kids who played Columbus in the movie Zombieland took his comedic ways with him to The Social Network but added more to it. He was a funny arrogant smart alec in this movie. Which made you respect the character even more. His fast pace remarks to everyone's comments, tells you that this guy thinks quickly and that you would not want to be in a verbal argument with him. Overall I would say see this film. It is great, and all though some of the acting (Justin Timberlake) wasn't the greatest, it is still worth the 8 dollars to go see. You will leave the theater, happy, inspired, and most likely you will go home and get on facebook and update you status to, Just saw The Social Network! WOW great film. Because that exactly what I did.
